Common questions

What's actually in the Free tier?

Core ticketing and assignment for up to 3 users and one connected mailbox — enough to run a small team's shared inbox properly, or to try HelpDesk before committing. The release workflow, labels, and unlimited departments are Team-plan features.

Is Team pricing metered automatically?

You're billed for active users on your license, not suspended or pending accounts. Since you're self-hosting, there's no telemetry phoning home — licensing is on the honor system, the same way most self-hosted software works.

What do I need to self-host it?

A server that can run a Laravel application (PHP + a database), plus a place to distribute the desktop app to your team. See the Get started guide for the full walkthrough.

Can I switch tiers or move to Hosted later?

Yes — reach out and we'll help you plan the move without disrupting your team's day-to-day.
