Why we built HelpDesk

Most teams start the same way: a shared mailbox, a shared password, and an honor system. It works — for a while. Then two people reply to the same customer on the same day. Then a new hire sends something they shouldn't have, unreviewed, because nobody was watching. Then a thread sits unanswered for a week because it scrolled off the bottom of everyone's attention at once.

None of that is a people problem. It's a tooling problem — shared inboxes have no concept of ownership, no review step, and no memory. HelpDesk exists to fix exactly that, without turning email into something unrecognizable.

Every ticket has one clear owner. Every reply can optionally require sign-off before it sends. Every reminder resurfaces exactly when you asked, not "eventually." And the whole thing runs as a fast, native desktop app — because a tool your team avoids opening doesn't help anyone.

What we care about

Built for the actual problem

Not a generic ticketing system with email bolted on. HelpDesk starts from how shared mailboxes really break down, and builds outward from there.

Your data stays yours

Self-hosted by default, with encrypted credentials and full tenant isolation. We'd rather you trust your own infrastructure than trust us.

Fast, not bloated

A native desktop app instead of another browser tab, with real-time updates instead of a refresh button.

Curious if it fits your team?
